- Asafoetida or Hing: A pinch
- Red chilli: 1 dried and broken
- Curry Leaves: Few

Here are the essential steps to follow to prepare the chutney for the first time:
- Dry roast the peanuts on a medium flame. Make sure to roast the peanuts till they get separated from the skin.
- Allow the peanuts to cool down and get rid of the skin thoroughly.

- Heat a pan and add some oil, urad dal, and chana dal.
- Along with these, roast green chilli and two cloves of garlic until the blisters start to appear.
