Oil: 2 tsp
Urad Dal: 1 tsp
Chana Dal: 1 tsp
Garlic: 2 cloves
Green Chili: 1
Tamarind: Small piece

Water: ½ cup or as per requirement
For tempering the peanut chutney recipe
Oil: 2 tsp
Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
Urad Dal: 1 tsp
Asafoetida or Hing: A pinch
Red chilli: 1 dried and broken
Curry Leaves: Few
Instructions to prepare the peanut chutney recipe
Here are the essential steps to follow to prepare the chutney for the first time:
Dry roast the peanuts on a medium flame. Make sure to roast the peanuts till they get separated from the skin.
Allow the peanuts to cool down and get rid of the skin thoroughly.
Once done, make sure to transfer these peanuts into your blender.
Heat a pan and add some oil, urad dal, and chana dal.
Along with these, roast green chilli and two cloves of garlic until the blisters start to appear.
Once all these ingredients are appropriately roasted, transfer them into the blender as well.
Add some tamarind and salt to taste.
Blend the entire mixture till you get the desired consistency. In case you want to dilute it a little bit, make sure to add an appropriate amount of water.
