4. Unclear or smelly urine – Pink, red or brown urine could be a sign of kidney stones. Sometimes you won’t feel a burning sensation while urinating but smelly urine or unclear urine is a clear kidney stone symptoms. The smell comes from the bacteria that cause the infection.

5. Urinary tract obstruction – As discussed earlier, one of the kidney stone symptoms is frequently visiting the loo. This is a common indication of kidney stones being stuck in the lower urinary tract. The stones block the urinary passage and slow down the pressure.

6. Fever – Fever and chills are signs that you either have an infection in your kidney or your urinary tract. It is important to get a timely diagnosis and needed medical attention.

7. Vomiting – Kidneys share nerves with the gastrointestinal tract which can upset the stomach and cause vomiting. The vomiting can also happen as a reaction to intense pain.

8. Back pain – Back pain or belly pain are also kidney stone symptoms, which means the stones are either big or many in number. The pain might be tolerable at the start but it gets unbearable over a period of time. It is important to get immediate medical care for getting relief from the pain.
