Method of making the rajma masala powder recipe

1. First, make sure to wash all the spices and thoroughly dry them. Then, take a kadhai and heat it on medium flame.

2. Add the coriander seeds and lightly roast them until they change colour. Once this is done, keep these aside, clean the pan.

3. Next, lightly roast the carrom seeds. Keep these aside as well and allow them to cool.

4. Then, roast the cumin seeds until they emanate a fragrance, keep them aside.

5. In the next step, roast all of the remaining spices together. Make sure to remove the stalks of the dried chillies and break them before roasting them with the other spices.

6. Once everything is well roasted, allow the mixture to cool for twenty minutes. Put this in a mixer grinder and grind well. Be careful to not let the mixer get too hot; allow a few minutes break before continuing.

7. Now, add the aamchur and dried pomegranate seeds to the mixture and continue to grind everything until it is a very fine powder.
