  • Water – as needed to knead the dough

How to make

In a big bowl, add the besan followed by oats flour, green chillies, ajwain and green chillies. Mix well and sprinkle some salt. Now start adding water, a little at a time and knead the dough. Make sure the dough is soft but not too sticky. When done, keep it aside for half an hour and put a lid on the bowl.

After 30 minutes, make small balls out of the dough and roll them one by one into thin flatbreads. Place a tawa on high flame and as soon as it becomes hot, reduce the flame to medium and put the roti on it. Roast it on both sides well so that no portion remains raw. But refrain from burning the rotis. Serve hot with veggies or curd or raita, whatever you like.
