Coriander leaves

1 cup, freshly chopped

Green chillies

1 – 2, chopped

Ginger

½ inch, chopped

Cumin powder

1 tbsp.

Lemon juice

1 – 2 tbsp

Salt / black salt / rock salt

Water

3 – 4 tbsps

How to make mint coriander chutney?

  1. Take the bunch of coriander leaves and pluck out the leaves to separate them from the tender stem.
  2. Similarly, pluck and separate the mint leaves from their stem. If the stems of the bunch mix with the chutney, the taste can get bitter so make sure to separate them carefully.
  3. Thoroughly clean the leaves under running water and let them strain on a sieve so that the excess water is removed.
  4. Take a blender or a grinder and add all the ingredients in it and grind them together to form a smooth paste by adding 3 -4 tbsp of water so that the mint coriander chutney attains a runny consistency.
