Foxtail millet – ladoo
( Kangni / Korra / Tenai / Navane )
- Dry roast thinai rice in a pan on low flame till it becomes crispy. Remove from heat and allow it to cool. Then transfer it to a mixer jar and grind it to a smooth powder.
- Dry roast nuts in the same pan and transfer to to a mixer jar. I used cashews, pistachios and almonds.
- Add dry roasted thinai rice also to the jar, along with grated jaggery and roasted nuts and grind to a smooth powder. Transfer it to a wide mouthed bowl or plate .
- Add honey and ghee, mix well. Take small portions and make ladoos.
